TexShare

TexShare is a consortium of Texas libraries joining together to share print and electronic materials, purchase online resources, and combine staff expertise.

TexShare services are available to patrons of participating member libraries all across Texas, regardless of institution type, size, or location. The consortium is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

TexShare Card Program

The Card Program is a reciprocal borrowing program which allows registered users of participating TexShare libraries to obtain a TexShare card and use the card to borrow materials directly from other participating libraries.

You must obtain a TexShare card from your home institution before going to other libraries. Each library sets its own lending policies for visiting TexShare Card users. Contact the library to find out about their lending rules.
