Tech Skills for the 21st Century - Microsoft Word 2010 Part 1 @ JRL

This is a basic two-hour hands-on introductory MS Word class. Topics include ribbon bars and commands in the 2010 version, rulers, changing the default of the multiple spacing, opening and saving a document, selecting data, clip art, formats, double spacing, indenting, columns, background, spell-check, copy, cut, and paste.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Class size is limited to 11 people.

Classes meet weekly. Difficulty level will rise and more advanced skills will be covered with every session.  To maximize the experience, students should commit to attending all sessions.

Bring a valid library card and a flash drive.

These classes are made possible by an Impact Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Texas State Library.
