Tech Skills for the 21st Century - Computer Literacy Part 1 @ JRL

Introduction to Computers

This is a basic two-hour, hands-on introductory computer class for adults. This general overview includes terminology about basic hardware, using a mouse, software terminology and Microsoft information, opening a MS Word document and basic keystroke commands (like moving and re-sizing a window).

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Class size is limited to 11 people.

Classes meet weekly. Difficulty level will rise and more advanced skills will be covered with every session.  To maximize the experience, students should commit to attending all sessions.

Bring a valid library card and a flash drive.

These classes are made possible by an Impact Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Texas State Library.
