Independent readers can read a favorite book (from home or from the Library) one-on-one to a Heart of Texas Therapy Dog. These specially trained dogs are great listeners and love to hear kids read!

Younger children and their parents will join volunteers from Operation Kindness for puppy stories and learn how to be safe with an unfamiliar dog.
