Description

Receive training and assistance in learning basic computer and digital skills from a Goodwill Digital Skills Training instructor. Learn about computer parts and functionalities, including:

• Maneuvering a mouse
• Highlighting text
• Manipulating the keyboard

Students have the option to finish with a Computer Basics assessment and a chance to earn a certificate, adding 30 minutes to the allotted time.

What to Bring

• Your valid Carrollton Public Library card or ID for a Guest Pass
  • Information about getting a Library Card
  • Pay any outstanding fees to an amount less than $10 BEFORE the class to make sure you can participate

Audience

For ADULTS

• This class is NOT suitable for children
• Make arrangements for children to be supervised by someone other than library staff, outside of the classroom

Registration

Space is limited and registration is required.

Day of Class

• Class starts promptly at the designated time
• Registrants' seats are ONLY held for 10 minutes after the class start time
• If you do not have a Library card, talk with staff BEFORE class start time about getting a card or Guest Pass
