This is a basic two-hour, hands-on introductory computer class for adults. This general overview concerns basic hardware, using a mouse, available software, opening Microsoft Word and basic keystrokes like moving and re-sizing a window. An introduction to the Internet is also included.

A current Carrollton library card and a USB flash drive or floppy disk for saving work are required.
Call 972-466-4800 to register. Registration begins on the 15th of the preceding month.
Class size is limited to 20 people. Participants may share computers during the class.

Classes are funded by a Loan Star Libraries grant from the Texas State Library.
