Building Your Skills Computer Classes: Internet Searching for Success

Computers and the Internet have been a part of our lives for a long time, yet they can still be confusing. These classes are designed to help the new user learning his/her way around technology and apply it to daily life in the best way. Classes are held in the electronic classroom of each library. A current Carrollton Library card and a flash drive for saving work are required. Registration is required; class size is limited to 10 people. Internet Searching for Success
The Internet has been around for a really long time now, and searching a single topic an produce hundred of results--good, bad, and totally off the mark. This class will teach searchers how to use the best techniques to get the best results, how to evaluate websites for accuracy and authenticity, and how to know when a Library-sponsored electronic resource is the better choice.
