Carrollton is hiring seasonal camp counselors, who will work under the direction and leadership of the City’s recreation supervisor and camp coordinator. Counselors will provide a diverse, fun, and comfortable environment for all camp participants including coordinating and running daily recreational activities in a safe and positive manner. The counselor will be responsible for an assigned group of campers within a specific age range. Camp will include indoor and outdoor activities, and off-site field trips.

Counselor candidates must be at least 17 years of age, possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license, and must be CPR, AED, and First Aid certified within three days prior to the first day of camp. The City can provide these training certifications. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED certificate, bilingual speaking abilities in English and Spanish, and experience as a recreation or summer camp counselor. For more information, contact the City of Carrollton Workforce Services at 972-466-3091 or email HR@cityofcarrollton.com for assistance.
