Carrollton Senior Center offers top of the line, self-directed cardio and strength training equipment that can help seniors prevent injuries and improve mental health when they commit to an active lifestyle. Fitness orientations are available to show members the proper use of the fitness equipment and personal trainers can take fitness to the next level. Stretch, Yoga, Aerobics, and FUNctional Fitness are just a few of the group fitness classes available that intend to make fitness fun with friends. Other options to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle include group activities and games such as Chair Volleyball or Ping Pong.

Members can take part in monthly Lunch and Learn gatherings, mental health presentations, and free health screenings. Carrollton Senior Center members can help reduce several risk factors and enhance personal well-being with meaningful connections with peers, groups, and the community. Groups such as Book Club, Red Hats Society, Reunion Hispania, and more make staying social convenient, fun, and personal. Monthly luncheons at Carrollton Senior Center present a fantastic dining experience with friends. Adventurous day-trip excursions throughout DFW are a great way to explore the Metroplex with familiar faces and friends. Additionally, card games, bingo and billiards are available throughout the day and offer opportunities to socialize through special interest recreation.
Get Creative
Embedding creative arts into a daily routine is a great way to exercise the brain and get inspired to pursue new activities. Groups such as Knit and Crochet, Painting, Quilting, and Ceramics represent just a few of the Arts & Craft groups that meet at Carrollton Senior Center. Actors Coming Together (ACT) is a drama group that meets weekly to engage in theater games and improvisation that allows for a dynamic and expressive environment. Sing along groups, guitar jam sessions, along with several bands all gather at Carrollton Senior Center for inspiration through music and song.
