Applications for Citizens Fire Academy #12 are now open!

This academy will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9pm from September 19 through November 14. 

Citizens Fire Academy (CFA) gives citizens the opportunity to peek behind the curtains at Carrollton Fire Rescue. In class, students will see demonstrations of crews performing Emergency Medical Service skills, Technical Rescue Operations, Fire Ground Operations, and even get their hands on the "Jaws of Life" on Vehicle Extrication night! In addition to class sessions, CFA participants are able to ride-out with crews during their academy to experience life at the fire stations. 

Each participant will receive training in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), Stop the Bleed, Fire Extinguishers, and much more!
