The campaign will run from Tuesday, April 22 through Thursday, April 24. Local 2182 fire fighters across eight stations will go out into the City at major intersections with fireman’s boots in hand to collect donations from citizens and passing motorists.

The City of Carrollton is hosting a free pet registration event and $5 rabies vaccinations for Carrollton residents on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Vaccinations will only be available from 10 a.m.-noon. Free hot dogs, lemonade, pretzels, face painting and a bounce house will be available.

Contributing to the rating are strong financial performance and planning, low debt and modest capital, affordable user rates, strong financial metrics, rate flexibility, and a stable rating outlook.

The program provides an opportunity for citizens to expedite sidewalk repairs or replacement of eligible sidewalks by covering some of the financial burden. The City increased their contribution from a 50/50 split between the City and the owner, to a 60/40 split, where the City covers the larger share.
