Military Occupation: Anti-Aircraft Artillery

Service History, Stateside or Abroad: 1942-1945, WWII

1942-Basic training in Texas and later went overseas to Africa and then to Germany. We did a lot of fighting. I was in six battle stars. That means we were engaged with the enemies six different times. The was was “Hell”, however, I made it through. I returned to Camp Dodge, Des Moine IA and was discharged at 5 a.m. in the morning, in 1945. 

Honors & Commendations: Good Conduct Medal

Present Location: Carrollton, TX. I am a resident of the Atria (Assisted Living), Carrollton.
