Welcome aboard!

Here are few things to read and fill out before and after starting your career with the City of Carrollton. 


What to Expect

  1. Offer letter and onboarding documents will be sent via email through the Dayforce system. 

  2. Pre-employment drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.

  3. You will receive a start date confirmation email from DocuSign along with a First Time Access email asking you to activate your Dayforce account once all pre-employment processes have been completed.  The DocuSign email and your Dayforce account will have all the information you need to be prepared for your first day with the City.

  4. Onboarding with HR on 1st day to complete onboarding tasks and go over benefit details.

  5. New Employee Orientations (NEO) are hosted every other month for new hires to be welcomed by internal city leaders such as the City Manager, Public Safety Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, etc.

    You’ll receive an email through your City email address to attend the next scheduled session. 

    Attendance is not mandatory, but it is a really good opportunity to hear about the City and our culture from their point of view.
