Meet Kammie and Etta Powell. Etta is 10 and a 4^th grader at Rosemeade Elementary in Carrollton, and all they'll say about Kammie is she's old enough to be her mother. This mother-daughter duo loves to create and loves the City of Carrollton. They take frequent “art walks” in Downtown Carrollton, exploring all the murals and statues. They are thrilled to join the community of art and leave a beautiful mark in Downtown Carrollton. 

Brittany Gardner lives in Carrollton with her husband, Nathan, and her sassy little kitty, Lady Meow Meow. Her and Nathan love to spend their free time outdoors camping and exploring new places. During the week, she spends her time doing what she loves – creating things for people. As a freelance graphic designer, she owns a small business known as Wax on Paper, where she creates beautiful and usable designs from branding and logos to websites and promotional advertising. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Carrollton’s community.

Wilson Li is currently a sophomore at at Hebron High School in Carrollton. His interests include Japanese anime and drawing, and he enjoys playing basketball and watching movies in his free time. His mother encouraged him to participate in the Storm Drain Art Contest as a way to become more involved in the community. It took him about three weeks from conceptualizing his artwork to putting the final touches on it. He is delighted that his work was selected and excited to see it displayed in the community. This semester, he took a digital art and animation course, which has sparked even more enthusiasm in him. He plans to continue exploring this field in college.

Jules Rincon is a multicultural mixed media artist with a degree in theater from the University of Costa Rica. Living and working in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and the United States has given her a unique perspective on placemaking, cultural identity and conservation, which she explores through her work in fiber arts, creative reuse, and illustration. 

Harper Robbins is a student at Guyer High School in Denton and a budding entrepreneur. She has her own art business, Harper Hues, where she creates prints and customized art commissions. Harper plays the double bass for her school and the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and does gigs on the side. She also plays other instruments like bass guitar and guitar. She currently lives in Denton with her parents and her cat. 

A DFW-based freelance UX/UI Designer, Christina Seo has been refining her creativity for the last 10 years. With a foundational background in illustration, Christina's journey began with a simple pencil sketch in Houston, Texas. While her primary focus lies in UX/UI design, she relishes the opportunity to indulge her passion for art by creating pieces for friends and her local community. Her creations continue to grace a local Houston Korean fried chicken spot, band album covers, and merchandise, as well as Youtube. You can find her on IG @seotini. 

Briauna Williams is a 33-year-old Black woman from North Minneapolis residing in North Dallas. Briauna considers herself a God taught artist from the age of 5. She is an acrylic artist, muralist, digital illustrator, and community engagement artist. She uses paint to tell not only her own stories, but her community’s as well - stories of pain, passion, resilience, and beauty. She describes painting as like poetry. Her artwork has notes of nature, emotions, and an overall whimsical style. Briauna never approaches one piece the same, constantly exploring and connecting with her work in a variety of ways. She has several murals within some fabulous North Dallas dining spots: Amy's Donuts in Lewisville, Awesome Times, and Zag Afro Fusion. Overall, Briauna hopes to inspire and empower others with her talents, coinciding much of her work with mental health and wellness.
