Three major highways travel through the City of Carrollton: President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT), Interstate Highway 35E (I-35E), and State Highway 121 (SH-121).
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is responsible for maintaining the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT), Interstate Highway 35E (I-35E), and State Highway 121 (SH-121).
These roadways combine with arterial and collector streets to form a network of roadways which allow citizens to travel to destinations as quickly and efficiently as possible.
