What is Damage Assessment?

The collection of damage details in order to evaluate the magnitude of damages and impacts of disasters.

Participate in Carrollton's Preliminary Damage Assessments

The Office of Emergency Management recognizes the value of Carrollton residents being our eyes all around the City. Because of this, we would appreciate your siting reports for us to get a preliminary feel of impacts to our city. If you would like to report damages or impacts, you can do so by completing the form linked below.

Note: The survey will only be active and accepting responses after a significant event or disaster. 


What happens with the data you submit?

Your data is very useful and will assist us in a multitude of ways, including:

  1. The Office of Emergency Management will conclude continuing steps to take or resources to activate.
  2. Development of sharable data.
  3. Conclude the severity level of event by the National Weather Service
  4. Can be used to communicate with the State and FEMA to determine extent of damages and support requirements.

Any personal identifying data you may submit will be kept confidential.
