Continuously track the weather and have a plan ready in the case that the watch is elevated to a warning.

What do I do if I'm in an area under a warning?

Seek shelter immediately. If you are indoors, go to your designated shelter room. This would be the innermost room. It is also recommended you go into your bathroom, only if it does not have an exterior wall. If you are outdoors and driving, stop striving and seek shelter indoors immediately. 

If I register for CarrolltonAlert and set a quiet time, will I receive emergency notifications?

During quiet hours, you will continue to receive tornado and severe thunderstorm notifications due to life safety concerns. All other notifications will be silenced during the hours you set as quiet time.
