    City Facilities CLOSED for Furlough Day May 28, Closed for Memorial Day Holiday May 31

    City facilities will be closed on Friday, May 28 for the first of three scheduled furlough days this year, in an effort to address the City’s estimated $2.9 million budget shortfall. Essential services such as Police and Fire will still be operational. Oak Creek Tennis Center and Indian Creek Golf Club are operated on a contractual basis and will not be closed for furlough days. These graduates now volunteer their time as part of the Carrollton Citizen Patrol, performing tasks such as parking violation enforcement that allow police officers to concentrate on other aspects of their job.
