April 14 - Last Day to Register to Vote
On May 14, voters will elect a Mayor and Council Members for Places 2, 4 and 6. The last day to register to vote in this election is Thursday, April 14.

Local Election to Take Place on May 14
A local election will be taking place on Saturday, May 14th to elect three City Council members and a mayor for Carrollton as well as school board members and county officials. Due to the number of candidates running some confusion has occurred about the placement of political signs in and around the City.

National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, April 10 – 16, 2011
Hats off to the Carrollton Public Safety Telecommunications team. In 2010, they answered 196,895 emergency and non-emergency calls for service. They also managed, on average, 80,000 radio transmissions from Police and Fire responders each month.
