Trash and recycling pick-up will be collected as normal on regularly scheduled days; there will be no collection delays. City facilities, including City Hall, Recreation Centers, both libraries, Oak Creek Tennis Center, and the Senior Center, will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25.

With the recent hail storms many roofs have had to be repaired or replaced. When this happens, the vent stacks may be taken off to assist with the tear off of the old roof. If vent pipes are not reattached correctly, carbon monoxide can build up in the attic space and move down to the living areas.

There will be very limited parking in the downtown area due to the road closures for the Festival. Your best bet is to park at the Trinity Mills DART station and ride the Green Line to the Downtown Carrollton Station. From there it's just a short walk across the skybridge to the Historic Downtown Square. Normal charges will apply to ride DART ($1.75 each way). Belt Line Road will stay open: however there will be partial road closings in the Downtown area starting at Fourth and Elm on Wed. Nov. 2 for the stage build. Broadway and the remaining Downtown streets will close after 2 on Fri. Nov. 4 and will reopen by late afternoon Sun. Nov. 6. Click through for map.
