The Hebron and Josey Library and the Josey Ranch Lake Library will be closed for staff development on Friday, October 10. Both Libraries will reopen on Saturday, October 11 at 10 a.m. for normal operating hours.

Belt Line Road will be closed for repair of the railroad crossing between Broadway Road and I-35E on Saturday, September 27 from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. Traffic will be routed along College Street, just north of Belt Line Road.

THE CITY OF CARROLLTON ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.2 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $22.32.

A long string of black pipe has been placed along Eisenhower Street as part of our Indian Creek Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation Project. This pipe is for bypassing wastewater around the lines that are being rehabilitated to prolong the life of the sewer.
