The City of Carrollton welcomes Dallas Master Gardener Janet Smith on Thursday, May 25 for a special lecture on how pollinators, such as birds and insects, play an important role in our ecosystem. In this free session, participants will learn what they can do to support native birds, bees, and butterflies, as well as pollinator-friendly gardening tips that help to create design beautiful landscaping that conserves water, lowers monthly water bills, and brings nature home to your garden. This class is free and will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Josey Ranch Lake Library (1700 Keller Springs).
