Navigating the Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant (NEMGP) application and planning can be daunting. This workshop will simplify the process, provide resources and answers. NEMGP applications are due July 1, for remaining 2016-2017 funds! Next time to apply will be June 1, 2018! So now is the time to get involved.
The grant guidelines allow for neighborhoods to receive up to $25,000 per application. The NEMGP will still require a neighborhood "match" which can be in sweat equity (volunteer labor or donations) or in matching funds. The match requirement is a 2:1 match.
The Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant Program (NEMGP) is a vital element of the City's on-going efforts to stimulate reinvestment in neighborhoods throughout Carrollton. Under this program, funding is made available for improvement projects planned and requested by neighborhood groups on a "first come, first served" basis. Each application is determined on a case by case approach. This is a matching grant program based on an agreement providing performance conditions.
