Learn the basics about your sprinkler system and how it operates at a free class on Tuesday, July 8, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Crosby Recreation Center (1610 E Crosby Road). Information will include how to program (or reprogram) your controller to coincide with allowed watering days and the best way to operate your system so your landscape will thrive even during times of watering restrictions. The helpful watering tips offered in this class will make it easy to apply them to your own system. This is great information for anyone who has an automatic sprinkler system. The instructor is degreed horticulturist, certified arborist and licensed irrigator, Patrick Dickinson of Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Dallas.
