Service History, Stateside or Abroad: From 1957 to 1961
I went to boot camp in San Diego, California. Then I went aboard the U.S.S. Takoma in December 1957. In early 1958, located and brought aircraft that crashed off the Hawaiian Island during the Korean conflict. I spent 6 months at "Eniwetok"Atoll during hydrogen bomb testing. I made 2 trips to Japan, Hong Kong, Phillipines on the islands. 1 trip to Kwajalein Atoll, Okinawa, Guam and Kowlson on mainland China and Midway Island.
Honors & Commendations: Received Good Conduct Medal.
