Feb. 1964-July 1967: Assigned to the Bon Homme Richard (CVA31) for Pacific Fleet Operations. The Bon Homme Richard patrolled the south China Sea providing air support for expeditionalry ground forces in Viet Nam.

Aug. 1964-June 1965: Electronic Technician School at the Grat Lakes Naval Training Station in Chicago, IL

July 1965-Oct. 1966: Assigned to the Naval Communications Station in Sidi Yahia, Morrocco. While there, I was assigned to a remote Tropospheric Scatter communications station.
