Class: Seaman 1st Class

Military Occupation: Aviation Machinist Mate / Area Gunner

Service History,Stateside or Abroad:
Eight weeks basic training at at the US Naval Base in Millington, Tennessee, Thereafter, I was transferred to Norman, Oklahoma and later to Purcell, Oklahoma for Gunnery training. I went to Banana River, Florida for training. Acted as Crew Chief, at Navel Base in Melbourne, Florida. I was scheduled to go to the Pacific Island for the atom bomb test, but I had enough points to get an honorable discharged in 1946 .

Commendations and Honors: Good Conduct Medal

Present Location: Carrollton, Texas . I relocated from Chicago, Illinois to Farmers Branch, Texas in 1972 where I worked in sales (Mobile Chemical). I resigned in 1973 to start a real estate business. I am now a resident of the Atria, Carrollton.
