Service History, Stateside or Abroad: 1942 – Basic training in Maryland. I went to communication school there. I departed for the South Pacific to work as a High Speed Radio Operator. I was in a landing craft outfit during radio operations (morse code signals). I enjoyed the service while I was in the Pacific. I was discharged in 1945. I returned to York, Pennsylvania and worked TV Repairman until I retired.
