Volunteer to Help Carrollton Homeowners in Need
The Carrollton People Helping People Program encourages community spirit by partnering the City with local religious institutions and businesses that desire to help residents in need. Services can include smaller projects like painting to more extensive repairs depending on the experience of the group. A City coordinator will assist in matching groups with appropriate tasks.
An ideal group will include 15 - 20 people. Adult supervision (an adult for five minors) is required for groups with kids age 13 - 17, and a liability form must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.
It is encouraged that if volunteers have tools and supplies that can be used on the project that they bring them. For more information, please contact Meagan Tucker, Community Development Specialist at 972-466-9121.
