The plan review staff is a group of degreed and trained professionals who understand building codes and related ordinances. We have the responsibility to communicate with and educate customers on the needs and requirements of the City’s development regulations.

We will review your plans and specifications for residential, commercial, multifamily and industrial projects and associated public improvements for compliance with health and life safety requirements, and ensure that all plans submitted for permitting are complete and any deficiencies addressed. In addition, solutions to design issues and consultation on codes and ordinances can be provided to you.

We will coordinate projects from initial design to final permit issuance. This includes:

• Participating in Pre-Development meetings
• Providing responses to stakeholder inquiries
• Reviewing construction documents and sending plan review comments
