This extreme hot weather is putting considerable demand on the water distribution system. As a result, we are placing our supplemental water well into operation to ensure we have an adequate water supply. Please realize this well has some sulfurous properties associated with the supply and may result in some nuisance odor or taste issues. Please realize this water DOES NOT pose a health risk. This well is constantly monitored and samples taken to ensure it meets the strict environmental requirements for public health.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), system operator for the State’s bulk transmission grid, is asking consumers and businesses to reduce their electricity use during peak electricity hours from 3 to 7 p.m. today.
The extreme heat is causing tight capacity and high demand which may result in unexpected outages.
