Notice of 2015 Tax Year Proposed Property Tax Rate for City of Carrollton
A tax rate of $0.615375 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the governing body of the City of Carrollton. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate.

Carrollton Animal Services Saves Lives with Local Collaboration
Last week Carrollton Animal Services encountered quite the challenge with overflow at the facility. The staff had to get creative and by thinking outside the box, managed to adopt out or tag for a rescue ALL the animals on the urgent list.
