Say goodbye to the dog days of summer at the City of Carrollton’s annual Pooch Pool Party on Saturday, September 10 from 12-3 p.m. at the Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex (1334 E. Rosemeade Parkway).

Bring your dog out for swimming and pet-friendly vendors. The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. offering low-cost vaccines, and Carrollton Animal Services will be on-site offering free City pet registrations.

Admission is $5 per dog; there is no charge for humans. All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination (or be about to receive one), be registered with the City of Carrollton (or register at the event), and be accompanied by an adult.

Reminder: humans are not allowed in the pool with their pets. This is a fun time for doggos to enjoy the cool pool water before the close of the season. If anyone swims with their dog, they will be asked to vacate the water for the health and safety of everyone in attendance.
