Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) Inc. regional operation hub, located at 2395 Midway Road, will expand its current operations in Carrollton to create at least 250 new jobs over the next year and $6 million in capital investment.

The expansion will convert approximately 27,000 sq. ft. of existing warehouse space into office space to accommodate the new employees. The company currently employs over 1,000 workers with positions in administrative, business operations, customer support, finance, human resources, legal, marketing, publishing and editorial, sales, technology, and project management.

The City of Carrollton partnered with the Office of the Governor to facilitate state, regional, and local support for Thomson Reuters’ expansion. The City of Carrollton provided a seven-year, 75 percent tax rebate on the new property value and reimbursement of building permit fees associated with the project. The State of Texas offered a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) Grant in the amount of $1.538 million.
