Be a part of the Metroplex’s newest family-oriented event when the City of Carrollton’s Festival at the Switchyard makes its debut this fall, October 22-23. This unique signature event is intended to be held annually, and draw regional crowds with the broad appeal of big-name entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The two-day, outdoor Festival will be held in Downtown Carrollton, situated off I-35 between the George Bush Turnpike and LBJ Freeway at Belt Line Road. Featuring live music on two stages, food, arts and crafts, and family fun, the Festival at the Switchyard is targeted toward the more than 2.8 million Metroplex residents living within a 30-minute drive of Carrollton.
The Switchyard theme honors Carrollton’s historic role as a rail hub and the importance of rail in the life of the City as the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Green Line service arrives in Carrollton by year’s end.
