The City of Carrollton hosted a successful clean up day as part of the Dallas County-wide volunteer project “Ask Not…the Dallas County Day of Service”. On Saturday, November 23, over 60 volunteers spread over 1/3 of a mile of mulch and picked up over 30 bags of trash along the Elm Fork Nature Trail. Many thanks to the individuals and groups such as Creekview Key Club and Student Council, R.L. Turner Junior ROTC and Texas Association of Future Educators, North Texas Little League teams, Cub Scouts Troops 115, 574, and 787, as well as Cub Scouts Pack 405 that helped maintain the beautiful Carrollton parks and trails.
