Crosby Recreation Center (1610 E. Crosby Road) welcomed over 250 guests at their free community wellness event for members and non-members on Friday, January 31. Children played basketball against City staff, soccer with the Dallas Christian College Soccer team, and enjoyed fitness drills with former NFL players Bethel Johnson and Pierre Goree. Adults were able to try a free boxing class and take free health assessments from local businesses and organizations, including the Carrollton Fire Department, Dallas County Health and Human Services and Baylor Medical Center.
