The goal is simple: a cure. The race is put on to raise awareness and funding to fight brain cancer. Proceeds from the Head for the Cure 5K - North Texas event benefit the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative (BTTC) through the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Legacy Brain Foundation in North Texas. In two years, North Texas has raised over $350,000.
You might be a relative or friend of someone struggling with this disease. You might be a survivor. Either way, YOU make a difference! We are all in this fight together. Whether you are passionate about running or just prefer a leisurely walk, we invite you to experience something truly amazing on May 11th.
*Be sure to keep an eye out for Carrollton team "GFORCE", representing a Carrollton survivor.
