Tour includes five Homes, Bake Sale, Sealed Bid and Drawing for Prizes
Special Discounts from Downtown Carrollton Merchants
Step back in time for this year’s Holiday Tour of Homes! After a 1908 flood destroyed many of the earliest Carrollton homes, new homes were built on a hill just north of the Carrollton downtown area and became known as Carrollton Heights. The 2012 tour will include Craftsman, Prairie and Ranch style homes in this area built between 1910 and 1988, all beautifully restored and updated for modern use. The homes are only steps from one another and parking will be available nearby.
Mark your calendar for Friday Nov. 9 and Saturday Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Tickets are $15/advance or $18/door. One ticket allows access to all five homes. Tickets may be purchased from any Civic League member or online at: www.thecivicleague.org.
Purchase drawing tickets for $10 each or 3 for $25 for a chance to win:
*$100 gift certificate for Kenny’s Wood Fired Grill in Addison
*A romantic one night weekend stay at the Galleria Doubletree by Hilton with breakfast
*Golf for four at Brookhaven Country Club and $50 gift certificate for food at the club
*For the sports fan, a basketball signed by Popeye Jones and Spud Webb
Feast at the bake sale and take something home to share at Thanksgiving. You can even finish your holiday shopping with the wonderful assortment of gift items at the sealed bid auction. Make the most of the discounts and promotions from Downtown Carrollton merchants and restaurants and shop and lunch as part of your day.
