The City of Carrollton is hosting a hands-on family night on Thursday, June 7 from 6:30-8pm at the Hebron & Josey Library (4220 N. Josey Lane). There will be events for adults and children ages 4+. Adults will learn about DIY home irrigation fixes, composting with worms, and will learn how to make a composting bin. The composting bins made will be raffled off to those in attendance. Children will learn about worms, and how they benefit our soil; and they will learn about water, the water cycle and how we use water in our community via hands-on programs.
