Free Freddy the Fish & Stormwater Pollution Class June 21
Come out and learn about pollution by “Fishing with Freddy” on Thursday, June 21 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Josey Ranch Lake Library (1700 Keller Springs Road). All ages are welcome, but this free class will be focused on ages 3-10, who will learn from Freddy the Fish as he travels downstream in polluted water. How did the water get so polluted and how can we make it clean again? We all live in a watershed where water pollution comes from multiple sources. What is nonpoint pollution and how does it contribute water bodies? The combined effect of pollution from many small sources can have a real impact on the quality of our shared water resources.
