Bring your gently used or new household items that don’t quite fit in your house any longer to exchange them for new-to-you items.

Drop off time will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Volunteers will have the first chance to swap from 11:30 a.m. until noon (volunteers must work 10 am-noon to qualify), and the public swap will be from noon until 1:30 p.m.

No cash will change hands, just good old fashion exchanging. Each item dropped off will be assessed a point value that can be used to shop for items. All items must be in working order. Great items to bring include holiday decorations, lamps, vases, decorative items, frames, kitchen items, serving plates and artificial plants. No televisions, printers, faxes, computers, toys or baby items, and no liquids of any kind or furniture accepted. All items not picked up will be donated to Metrocrest Social Services.
Volunteers are needed to assist in sorting items. This event will be part of Earth Week so get your groups together to assist from 10 a.m. until noon. Volunteers who bring items will be given first choice to swap items. Visit www.keepcarrolltonbeauitful.org for more information.
