  • Location: Downtown Carrollton
    Texas

Excitement is building for the 3rd Annual FREE Carrollton Festival at the Switchyard Saturday, November 3 from 11am-11pm. The Festival will be held on the streets of Downtown Carrollton, situated off I-35E at Belt Line Road. Visit the unique stores and restaurants of Downtown Carrollton, take a break in the beer garden, or shop the festival booths and enjoy a bite from our food vendors while the kids enjoy our new craft area, sports midway, bungee trampolines and more!

Top 5 things to know about the Festival this year:

  1. It’s FREE! No entry fee or ticket is needed, and all rides and games are still free. Bring spending money for food, drinks and shopping.
  2. Parking will be extremely limited. Park and ride the DART Green Line to the Downtown Carrollton station (regular charges apply, visit dart.org).
  3. Entertainment: The Radio Disney Rocking Road Show will be kicking things off from 11am-1pm with interactive games, music and fun; followed by a special patriotic flag ceremony, and performance by the Dallas Tap Dazzlers. Afternoon artists include Carrollton’s own John Wehlage; Austin's Bri Bagwell; Texas swing favorites Asleep at the Wheel; Springsteen cover band Thunder Road; and crowd-pleasers Micky and the Motorcars. Our evening acts, acclaimed national artists Sister Hazel and headliner Lifehouse, have both recorded many hits over the past decade and are sure to deliver a performance you won’t want to miss! For additional entertainment information and music clips, visit carrolltonfestival.com.
  4. Food vendors: We are looking for some tasty treats along with the great eats offered by downtown restaurants. Vendor applications are now being accepted for a unique mix of food and crafts. Discounts will be offered to applications received prior to September 15; early bird prices start as low as $75 for non-profit groups and $150 for all others.
  5. Arts & crafts: The Festival is a great place to start your holiday shopping. Be sure to check out the unique gifts at the booths and in the shops around the Downtown Square. Also, check out our new hands-on arts & crafts area for kids.
