Theme: Trees and Leaves

New programs for preschoolers! Master Naturalist and Master Gardener Kathryn Hardage, along with her fun and musical alter ego "Kacky Muse" will lead children on an exploration of nature with music and art. In each class parents and their children will be introduced to a gardening or nature theme through music and art. Led by "Kacky Muse", children will learn a chant, perform a fingerplay and sing a song together, followed by an activity to experience the World of Nature. Parents are required to accompany their child. There is no fee for parents or siblings too young to participate in activities when accompanying a registered child.

*Class meets at the Blackland Prairie Natural Area, located on the north side of the Library’s parking lot. Programs will be held outdoors and will last approximately 30 minutes. Please dress appropriately for the weather. A back-up, indoor classroom in the Library will be utilized on bad weather days.
