CARROLLTON WOMEN’S CLUB: Inspirations for spring gardening from Calloway’s Nursery, election of officers and updates on the annual fashion show will highlight the March meeting of the Carrollton Women’s Club, a service and social club. The club’s primary focus is providing scholarships for qualifying graduating girls who live in Carrollton through the annual fashion show, to be held at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch April 14. Ticket deadline for the event is April 1. Tickets will be available at the meeting – along with raffle tickets for a splendid array of quality items – including a:

- cashmere and fur opera shrug
- bedroom suite
- VIP Tour Gift Certificate compliments of WFAA News Anchor Gloria Campos. This certificate will allow the recipient and up to 5 guests to attend a live viewing of the 6 pm newscast and a tour to follow.
