This FREE program offers children ages 4-16 a chance to learn about edible gardening, from planting to harvesting, in designed garden beds. Through hands-on experiences, participants will discover how to care for plants, including watering and protection from critters. Come and cultivate valuable skills and a love for gardening in a fun and engaging way! Walk-ins are available, but sign-ups are preferred here.
This program is part of Park and Recreation Month to celebrate Parks & Recreation throughout the month of July. There will be Treasure Map Stamp Cards for those who have not yet received one. Attending this program earns the participant a stamp, a prize, and a gold coin which will be given at the end of the month.
