Learn how you and your family can be prepared when disaster strikes.
Topics to be covered in the workshop include an overview of both the natural and technological hazards that affect Carrollton, what you can do to prepare for them, the best methods for receiving vital warning information, and what to do when a disaster occurs.
Participants will learn how to assemble an emergency supply kit, as well as how to create a family emergency plan. Many of the hazards that affect Carrollton can occur with little or no warning. Now is the time to prepare, not when the sirens are sounding. Proper preparation and planning are the keys to ensuring you and your family stay safe.
Remember, preparedness starts at home. Are you prepared?
