The City will dedicate a historical marker for the Carrollton Rail Depot (located on Denton Drive, north of Belt Line Road). Carrollton is served by three railroads, the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad (the Katy), St. Louis Southwestern Railway (Cotton Belt) and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
