Saints Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church in Carrollton invites art lovers from the greater DFW metroplex to join in a celebration of creativity February 18-20. This event marks the opening of the church's new worship space at 1225 E. Rosemeade Parkway. Visitors can tour the new Worship space and view unique art exhibits, presentations, workshops and demonstrations.
Friday evening begins with a presentation by Dr. Peter Bouteneff of Saint Vladimir Orthodox Theological Seminary, followed by a performance by the Saint Kassiani Chorale with singers from throughout DFW. An at-the-door ticketed soiree follows with wine & cheese & treats with more music by Shannon Lewis (violin) and Noah Salem (piano).
Saturday has a full day of presentations and exhibits, a Pysanky-making workshop and films such as Parallel Loves. Greek and Cajun Food trucks will be on premises.
Sunday morning's worship is open to all and will be what is called a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy beginning at 9am with two ordinations. The Gallery will remain open until 2pm.
