This event has been postponed. Date TBA.
To help prevent the spread of rabies and to assist residents with keeping pets safe at a reasonable cost, the City of Carrollton is offering discounted rabies vaccinations for only $5, along with free pet registration, on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carrollton Animal Services and Adoption Center (2247 Sandy Lake Road).
Carrollton residents are invited to bring their families out to this free event that will include:
- hot dogs
- pretzels
- drinks
- a bounce house
- wildlife information
Attendees who bring a $10 donation to the Center will receive a stainless steel tumbler.
Carrollton animal owners must register their pets with the City each year. Since proof of rabies vaccination is required with registration, it is convenient to register with the City when animals receive their shots. Identification, convenience, and savings all come with a pet’s City registration tag. A current City tag clearly shows the public that a pet has been vaccinated against rabies, and registered pets may also be more quickly reunited with their owners.
